A terrible Darkness came from across the stars & cast our species out of our brightest Golden Age. Our civilization was in ruins & humanity was nearly extinguished. But we did not perish. There are those among us who could protect us, defend us, & give us hope for the future. This is a necessity, for within the shadows, still lies the Darkness.
