Write to Win: Developing Your Executive Summary
With Nate Williams, UC Davis Writing Program
Learn how to define your business in a concise and well-written executive summary. The executive summary is a required deliverable in Round 1 of the Big Bang! Business Competition.
Prior to the workshop
Note: We are offering this workshop on Zoom. Your registration confirmation email will include the link to attend as well as a link to watch the pre-workshop video.
Innovate online
We will start with a brief review of the information covered in the pre-workshop video. Most of our time will be devoted to hands-on, small group activities in breakout rooms to help you get started on your executive summary.
If you have a rough draft of your summary, Big Bang! judges and mentors will help teams in breakout rooms with your draft.
Zoom in ready to engage and grow through discussions, collaborative activities, and the energy and experience of meeting fellow innovators from across the UC Davis campus and throughout California.
