The Big Bands Are Back!
Save November 12th on your calendar for a dance/concert to benefit The American Big Band Preservation Society, Inc. Featuring the 18-piece Big Band, Dan Gabel and The Abletones, with vocalist Amanda Carr and special guest Rob Zappulla, the music of the 1930s, 40s and 50s will come alive with new vitality and energy.
Proceeds will fund the Society's efforts to bring Big Band music back into our schools through master classes, clinics, seminars and live performance.
WHERE: Memorial Hall, 590 Main St., Melrose, MA
WHEN: Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 6:30 PM (doors open at 6:00)
There will be complimentary hors d'oeuvres, a full Cash Bar and even dance instructors on the massive dance floor to get your feet moving.
