Event description
You are cordially invited to join the Bahá’í Community of Walnut Creek in celebrating the 200th anniversary of the birth of the Báb.

About this Event

The program will feature live performances and interactive exhibits. Heavy hors d’oeuvres and dessert will be served. The birth of the Báb marks one of the happiest and most festive celebrations for Bahá’is worldwide. Millions of people around the world will be commemorating the 200th anniversary of His birth and the Bahá’í Community of Walnut Creek is delighted to invite our friends, neighbors and the public at large to come and partake in this momentous celebration!

The Báb, whose title means “the Gate,” was a Messenger of God who called for the spiritual and moral regeneration of all of humanity. His mission was to prepare the way for the coming of yet another Messenger of God who would usher in a new era of peace promised in all the world religions. Bahá’ís recognize this latter Manifestation to be Bahá’u’lláh. Click here to learn more about the Bahá’í Faith. Click here to learn more about the life of Bahá’u’lláh.
