BIBA is co-organizing a multinational event in co-operation with other European business groups in Boston.

This event focuses on concrete measures to resolve multicultural issues when building international business teams. It offers BIBA members a unique opportunity to network with other European business people in Boston while enjoying drinks and appetizers.

Panel Discussion:

What happens when a company headquartered in Europe sends its European staff to work with its teams in Boston that don’t speak the same language, don’t have the same ideas of what is “normal”, or don’t have the same expectations?

Our panel of international executives and professional executive coaches draw on years of experience working with multinational teams, pinpointing areas of conflict, and striving for conflict resolution.

Panelists:

Gabriele Ganswindt, Founder of the Global Resiliency Network (GRN) and Shared Learning International

Oliver Kuehberger, Manager, Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP

Jeffrey D. Plunkett, Executive Vice President and General Counsel, Natixis Global Asset Management

Katherine (Kit) D. Williams, Senior Director of Genzyme’s Leadership and Organization Development.

Moderator:

Patrick Bench, Vice President of Public Affairs, Rasky Baerlein

The event was organized jointly with the French-American Chamber of Commerce (FACCNE), the German-American Business Council of Boston (GABC), the British-American Business Council of New England (BABCNE), and the Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce in New England (SACC-NE). The event is further supported by the Belgian-American Chamber of Commerce New England, NAF Boston, and the Swiss-American Chamber of Commerce (SACC).
