This course will provide Supervisors and Managers with a more comprehensive understanding of the value of annual or periodic employee performance reviews and evaluations. Areas to be addressed will include how Performance Evaluations motivate or alienate employees and have an on impact job satisfaction and morale. This course will address year-long planning in connection with the preparation of formal evaluations. We will focus on solely addressing performance, and excluding external factors such as, Rater Bias, Hypocrisy, Conflict Avoidance, Quality Informal Feedback and Communication. The course will also address the presentation of evaluations to employees in a productive manner. The primary goal is to provide resources for Supervisors to conduct fair and accurate Performance Evaluations that focus on job specific duties without bias or favoritism thus motivating employees towards the organizational goals and objectives.
