BGR! FILM FEST, brought to you by the award-winning BLACK GIRLS ROCK!® brand, is the ultimate destination for Black women filmmakers and black women-centered content. The two-day film festival celebrates the innovation, vision, and voices of Black women storytellers and other filmmakers who elevate the BLACK GIRL EXPERIENCE in their works. The festival showcases short and long-form narratives, documentaries, series & episodic content, and emerging media. BGR! FILM FEST 2022 includes live talkbacks with select filmmakers and cast members and will be held in Washington, D.C., on Saturday, July 2, and Sunday, July 3, at three locations: The Kennedy Center Family Theater, the Angelika Pop-up, and the Eaton Cinema.
