How do I get there? Is there parking?

I plan to take the metro from Bethesda (happy to coordinate with folks!) to avoid having to park at the Zoo. There is parking available but it is $30: https://nationalzoo.si.edu/visit/events/zoolights?perfid=307.

Do I need to buy tickets?

Nope! I have already purchased a dozen tickets for the group and will have them for the group.

A festive Friday with the girlies ✨ Stroll ZooLights, then cozy up over dinner at Sofra. Come for the lights, stay for the girl talk.

Join the Bethesda Girlies on Friday, December 19 for a cozy night in DC: first stop ZooLights at the National Zoo, then a delicious Mediterrean dinner at Sofra.

We’ll kick things off at 6:00 PM at ZooLights — strolling the grounds, taking in the light displays, snapping photos, and soaking up all the festive vibes. After we’ve walked and wandered, we’ll head to Sofra for a 7:30 PM reservation to warm up over shared plates, drinks, and easy conversation.

The plan:

6:00 PM – Meet at the entrance to ZooLights
Stroll, hang, and enjoy the lights together
7:30 PM – Group dinner at Sofra in DC

This is a smaller-group event, so spots are limited.
