My all-time favorite quote is from the world renowned 14th Dalai Lama, when he was asked what surprised him the most about humanity.

He answered "Man. Because he sacrifices his health in order to make money, then he sacrifices money to recuperate his health. And then he is so anxious about the future that he does not enjoy the present; the result being that he does not live in the present or the future; he lives as if he is never going to die, and then dies having never really lived."

I always revisit this quote to remind myself of the value of what I do as a professional health and fitness coach. Today we live in a society where everything is so fast paced and structured to keep us so busy that we often neglect or never fully reach the true potential of our health.

We know our health is one of the most valuable assets in our possession; however, we continue to list it as the lowest priority of the day. But why do we place it at the end when everything else like our job or hobbies would essentially mean nothing if our health was jeopardized?

Think about how your performance at work or your favorite hobby would increase if you put your health as a priority or if you had more strength and endurance to get through your day. It is proven that consistently making small, smart choices over time will make a radical difference, so here I want us all to make that effort and commitment to enhance our body's functions with the proper fitness and nutrition over this time together. For you, your family, and the people you love the most, we are here to create a healthier and more energized version of ourselves in order to live longer and be a positive and healthy influence on others.

That is why I AM SO EXCITED to start this specialized program not only for the people that want to get more confident in their health and fitness, but for those who want to get the most out of their training and track REAL and measurable results!


HERE IS EXACTLY WHAT TO EXPECT

Comprehensive Assessment

-Fitness Assessment

  • Upper body strength and agility test
  • Lower body strength, coordination, and agility test
  • Aerobic Recovery test

-Body + Health Measurements

  • Body fat percentage using Bioelectrical Impedance Scanner
  • Circumference measurements (Neck, Chest, Waist, Hips, Thighs)
  • Resting heart rate
  • Blood pressure

3-Month Training Program Overview

MONTH 1: Stability + Muscular Strength Endurance Training (Initial Fitness Assessment)

  • Improving stabilization of the core by incorporate exercises that progressively challenge the body’s stability requirements
  • Improving overall cardiorespiratory and neuromuscular condition
  • Establishing proper movement patterns and exercise technique
  • Promoting and priming muscle growth, and strength.

MONTH 2: Maximal + Muscular Hypertrophy Strength Training

  • Increasing the ability of the core to stabilize the pelvis and spine under heavier loads, through more-complete ranges of motion
  • Increasing load-bearing capabilities of muscles, tendons, ligaments, and joints
  • Increasing volume of training
  • Increasing metabolic demand of muscle and energy systems to induce muscle growth
  • Increasing motor unit recruitment frequency and moto unit synchronization in for maximal strength

MONTH 3: Power, Speed, Agility, Conditioning (Fitness Re-assessment)

  • Increasing the rate of force production and speed of muscle contractions
  • Increasing Aerobic Recovery and Cardiovascular Endurance
  • Increasing dynamic quickness and coordination
