Event description

Description

“Beyond Wildlife 101”

with Sandy Zelasko

Want to improve your wildlife photography? This three-hour, information packed class will motivate you and provide techniques to do just that; boost your ability to become the committed wildlife photographer you’ve been dreaming of. Don’t wait any longer!

We will dig into many aspects of wildlife photography including equipment choices, gear preparation, camera functions and settings for a variety of situations, finding your subjects, focusing methods, the importance of depth of field, backgrounds, plus much more. If time permits, we will review the editing process and discuss post-processing ideas. And of course, we’ll do our best to answer your photo questions also.

Sandy Zelasko, owner/photographer dba Sandra Lee Photography since 1992, will be your enthusiastic instructor. Along with tips and techniques, she will share stories that will inspire you to build your wildlife portfolio. Sandy is a judge at the San Diego Fair International Exhibition of Photography (Mammal category), NANPA speaker and photography workshop leader. She is an internationally awarded and published photographer who pledges her time to wildlife conservation through land acquisition.

This class welcomes all photography levels and abilities. The principles learned can be applied to more than wildlife subjects but family pets and domestic animals too.

“It’s time to develop from an ordinary photographer to wildlife artist. Invest in yourself!”
