Description

Leading minds explore the role of innovation towards a tipping point

For the past three years, plastic in the ocean has become one of the most highly debated topics both at WEF and around the world. The momentum for a transition towards a circular economy for plastics is building up, fuelled by consumer sentiment, corporate responsibility and the inevitable progress towards a shift away from the current unsustainable linear consumption models. Innovation is the engine that will enable this transition. We'd be delighted if you could join us for a conversation about the tipping point that will define 2025 as the year when material flows for plastics have shifted irreversibly, supported by a flow of capital enabling a massive ecosystem of innovation at every point of the plastics value chain. What does the tipping point look like to major consumer brands, manufacturers, petrochemicals and other stakeholders? How do we get there? What is the role of emerging innovations as the engine for these transformations?
