For the past year the feature film documentary Beyond the Peak - directed, filmed, produced, and edited by Aleksandar Jovic whom made his directorial debut with the project, haas gone on a world tour premiering at film festivals across the country with it's world premiere in Belgrade, Serbia.

IT ALL STARTED WITH AN INTRODUCTION.
In 2016, first time director - Aleksandar Jovic - was introduced to David Rayman-Rajkovic and the St. Nicholas Mountain Climbing Club. Both Aleks and David come from the Orthodox Christian Church, but their friendship became much more once Aleks discovered his part in the evolution of the mountain climbing club.
How one man innocently manifested something much bigger than himself. How David’s singular goal to pray for the soul of his lost brother would turn into a joyful experience for a brotherhood to come together and continue finding their spirituality in nature. It had a duality that immediately gripped the young director, and would became the start of a four year long journey to share this beautiful story with the rest of the world.
Their shared appreciation of nature would only be the first stepping stone in creating a narrative that reveals the brotherhood’s serendipitous journey, but aims to take the rest of the world, watching - Beyond the Peak.

As the final premiere and celebration for the project, the entire cast and crew alongside their families & friends are excited to share this film with the community their hearts call home.
