Event description

Description

The modern health care professional is an essential advocate for health beyond the traditional medical sphere. This workshop is designed to provide health care professionals with the tools to effectively champion issues that affect both their patients' health and the lives of millions of people.

Attendees will learn how to advocate directly with decision-makers, best practices for communicating with reporters/other professional media, and strategic organizing through social media platforms--including how to develop an outreach plan for a public policy campaign.
