She recognized that she inspired people all day, everyday while remaining miserable on the inside. April held good jobs, big titles but she knew this wasn’t walking in HER truth. She is here to help people like you get from where you are to where you want to be… easier and faster.

Candace Strother, CEO of Queenlyfe and Director of Diversity & Inclusion at Vortex Companies

QueenLyfe Inc.’s mission is carried forth by providing resourceful information through workshops addressing financial responsibility, the importance of healthy relationships, and physical and mental wellbeing. Through QueenLyfe, thousands of young women have been empowered to find comfort in their identity, build meaningful connections and cultivate a powerful foundation for success.

In June of 2020, Candace's passion for equitable treatment for humanity and ability to implement initiatives that promote inclusion positioned her to lead Vortex Companies as Director of Diversity and Inclusion. "I’ve always been passionate about mental health advocacy, and building communities in which individuals can feel safe, respected and valued for who they are." According to Candace, the sense of community is often a missing link within the workspace and people want to feel included and connected to something meaningful.

A graduate of the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Candace holds a BS in Business Marketing.
