Event Details

Someone presents a challenge, legal or otherwise, to your recordkeeping practices. How prepared are you to defend your RM program?   Is your program a potential liability for you or your agency?

This three –hour session will focus on laying the foundation of a defensible RM program, building upon that foundation utilizing The Principles of recordkeeping, and developing a defense toolkit of policy, procedures, training, and assessment.

Records officers and custodians who have or are ready to move beyond just identifying and documenting records for destruction will benefit most from this interactive presentation. Attendees are encouraged to come ready to participate in a give-and-take discussion of steps they have taken to make their program more defensible and some of the speed bumps encountered along the way.

Registration is open until one week before the event, and there will be no refunds made after registration closes.  Please notify the Event Organizer if someone else will be coming in place of the registered participant, or if you have any other questions.
