Neil Kraft graduated from the Rhode Island School of Design with a degree in photography. He has a passion for developing style-oriented brands that people want to be a part of. In 1982, he joined Barneys New York as SVP of Advertising and Marketing, where for nine years, his in-house agency created a series of campaigns that gained a little-known downtown store the international reputation it has today.
Next, Neil became the worldwide image director of Esprit De Corps and successfully redirected its image with the “what would you do?” campaign; a campaign that caught the attention of the market and generated 30,000 letters a month.
In 1992, he was appointed SVP of Advertising and Creative Services at Calvin Klein and set the company on a major new trajectory. His campaigns featuring Marky Mark and Kate Moss, as well as those for the Obsession and CK One perfumes, were instrumental in transforming the face of fashion advertising, as was his use of outdoor media.
In October 2000, Neil opened KraftWorks. He assembled a team of talented creative minds and strategists who together created successful campaigns and communication platforms for such brands as the Aldo Group, Ann Taylor, Bali Intimates, Bitten by Sarah Jessica Parker, Calvin Klein, Coty, Cointreau, Elizabeth Arden, La Prairie, J. Crew, Physicians Formula, Playtex Intimate Apparel, SmartWater, Taylor Swift Wonderstruck, Wonderbra and Voss.
