Event description

Description

We are at the dawn of a new workforce revolution - one that now requires all students to think like entrepreneurs, regardless of their chosen field. An entrepreneurial mindset exposes opportunities that foster the creativity and critical thinking, effective problem solving, communication, teamwork, and other skills that have become essential to adapt and thrive in today’s rapidly changing world.

The need for educators to infuse entrepreneurial thinking into the learning experience while engaging students across all disciplines is ever pressing. Participants in this workshop will engage in the entrepreneurial process and share best practices while exploring the broader implications of entrepreneurial thinking as an essential life skill that also creates a powerful incentive to learn.

In this workshop participants will:

  • Redefine entrepreneurship in a way that everyone can embrace
  • Learn the power of a compelling goal
  • Identify four key learning models that promote entrepreneurial thinking
  • Develop a toolkit to cultivate an entrepreneurial learning environment
