The City of Raleigh Museum is presenting an unique evening exploring the fusion of Indian-American cooking through dishes that are traditionally prepared to celebrate the Indian holidays of Pongal and Lohri. Chef Cheetie Kumar of Garland, Chef Vimala Rajendran of Vimala's Curryblossom Cafe, and James Beard award nominee Chef Meherwan Irani will explore the impact of American culture on their traditional Indian recipes. Enjoy a dish from each chef and listen as they discuss inspiration for their recipes.
