Many often think that navigating biases is a largely emotional endeavour. The Institute of Policy Studies (IPS) seeks to debunk this common perception by demonstrating how research has proven methods to identify biases before conflict even happens.

Through immersive and engaging tools such as biometric sensors, virtual reality experiences, roleplaying with interventions and learning how to navigate difficult conversations online, IPS’ Beyond Beliefs: Discover, Navigate and Appreciate Religious Diversity in Singapore workshop seek to equip youths from diverse faith groups with tried-and-tested ways to navigate inter-religious differences, and become active champions of religious diversity in Singapore.

The Beyond Beliefs workshop is driven by evidence-based research available internationally to help communities deal with religious diversity, as well as the cumulative years of research performed by IPS in the domains of religion, contextualised to the Singaporean society.
