Event description

Description

Go beyond the basics with this hands-on class. This class will deal with late spring and early summer management decisions that can impact the rest of the season for the bees and the beekeeper. Come and learn how to “read” a colony and asses how a hive is performing. Some of the things we’ll cover will be varroa mites, re-queening, splitting and honey production. We’ll inspect several hives and compare how each one is doing.

Rain date for the class will be Sunday, June 18 1:30-4:30pm.

Cancellation policy: We understand things come up and we will do our best to accommodate you. Within two weeks of the class, you will receive a credit towards a future GPC program. More than two weeks before the class, we will offer a full refund. If we have a waitlist for the class, we will offer you a full refund regardless of when you cancel.
