SEAN SLAUGHTER is not your average spoken word artist; his lyrics are accessible to both a well-read listener as well as someone who may be completely new to the spoken word form. He has established himself as a pillar in the national community by creating a successful cross marketing-cross promotion company for poets. He is a published author with his first publication “Pendulum Play: A Literary LP”, a book of poems tackling gun violence, which can be found at Barnes and Nobles. He is a national slam champion of the Brave New Voices international slam festival. He has been featured on HBO brave new voices, MTV Pepsi Refresh campaign commercial, Time Warner, and toured his work throughout the United States as well as abroad. Currently he continues to make an effort to push spoken word culture to higher heights through his company PoeTree Brand.
