Event Details

On Sunday, July 28, 2013, young Jewish adults from all over the Bay Area will come together for a community service day event, known as DOVsf (Day of Volunteering, San Francisco)!

Spend the morning with fellow young Jewish adults as you lend a hand to one of these local charitable organizations:

  • Golden Gate Parks Conservancy - (10:00am - 1:00pm ) @ Presidio
  • Glide - (11:30am - 2:00pm) @ Taylor & Ellis Streets
  • The Jewish Home -  (10am - 12pm) @ 302 Silver Ave
  • SF Food Bank - (12:30pm - 2:30pm) @ 900 Pennsylvania Ave
  • SF Parks Alliance - (10:00am-1:00pm) @ Esprit Park, 888 Minnesota St.
  • St. Martin's (8:45am - 11:00am) @ 225 Potrero Ave

At 3pm celebrate our collective spirit of tikun olam as we join together for food, beverages, and good company at Palomino Restaurant and Bar (345 Spear).

Young Adult Division

The Young Adult Division (YAD) of JCF offers young Jewish adults (ages 21-40ish) a broad range of social, educational, outreach, philanthropic and leadership development activities. The primary focus of YAD is to develop a vigorous and vibrant local community of young Jewish adults, to engage and develop future volunteer leaders, and to raise funds to support the neediest within the local, national and international Jewish community.
