Event description
This free educational program is for people with PD, families, care partners, providers, and all those affected by Parkinson’s disease.

About this Event

The Parkinson’s Foundation will present its fourth annual educational conference, “Better Lives Together: Fresno Parkinson’s Summit,” in Fresno, CA, on February 22, 2020. This event is co-hosted by the Greater Fresno Parkinson’s Support Group.

Conference topics include the brain-gut connection and medication timing in Parkinson’s, sleep strategies and cognition, advocacy, and strategies to prevent “freezing,” a common symptom of PD. Speakers from UCSF, the San Francisco VA, and Kaiser Permanente will share their expertise, and local area resources and services will be onsite to speak to the community. Click here for the full agenda (subject to change).

Program, lunch and refreshments are provided at no cost, but registration is required, and seating is limited. To register online visit www.parkinson.org/Fresno.

For more information about this program, contact the Parkinson's Foundation at 661-384-6139 or aramirez@parkinson.org.
