Started by Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune in 1904, the Concert Chorale of Bethune-Cookman University has become known as an “Ambassador of Good Will” that has travelled more than half a million miles and visited five countries. The auditioned ensemble travels extensively throughout Florida and the region performing a wide range of choral works from the past three centuries, including secular works, traditional hymns, and gospel selections. Bethune-Cookman University is a private, co-ed, historically black university affiliated with the United Methodist Church, located in Daytona Beach, Florida.
Part of the 2nd Annual Concert Series at Cypress Lake United Methodist. All concerts are open to the public; advance tickets are not required. A voluntary donation will be taken at the concert. Doors open half an hour before each performance.
