It’s about change, navigating through this overwhelming now, the nature of creating, and the possibility that everything is unfolding in divine and perfect order! Beth’s iconic blend of the soul searching, storying telling, meaning mining, moment making and revival tent inspiration, will be in full effect.

Beth is the critically acclaimed creator of UnCabaret, which Variety called ‘a progressive comedy institution’, and which launched the alt comedy revolution. Over the past 25+ years of live shows, TV, CD’s and streaming Beth has welcomed comedy luminaries like Margaret Cho, Bob Odenkirk, Jennifer Coolidge, Kathy Griffin, Julia Sweeney, Alec Mapa, Scott Thompson, Patton Oswalt, Janeane Garofalo and so many more.

Mitch Kaplan is the It’s A Lot Musical Director. Beth and Mitch began working together on 100% Happy 88% of the Time and he is musical director and co-producer of UnCabaret. Mitch is an award-winning singer, songwriter and pianist who has worked with such iconic luminaries as Sandra Bernhard, Ana Gasteyer and Cady Huffman and is the musical director for Oh L’Amour the authorized Erasure musical. His songs have been performed and recorded by Chaka Khan, Thelma Houston, Sister Sledge, Sam Harris, and Martika etc. and have appeared in films such as Jonathan Demme’s Something Wild. His song, If I Travel Up, is the end credit song for the upcoming documentary film Studio One Forever.

About the organizer

The Palm Springs Cultural Center, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, was established to encourage the development of the cultural arts in the Coachella Valley with a specific focus in the areas of film, fine art, live performance, dance, music, and community festivals. The Center is dedicated to advancing education, to nurturing community-wide participation in the cultural arts, and to sponsoring scholarship awards for deserving individuals.
