About this event
**RIDE ATTENDANCE WILL BE CAPPED AT 30 PARTICIPANTS TO ENSURE LIMITED ATTENDANCE AND SAFE DISTANCING **
Join Senator Durazo and the LA County Bicycle Coalition for this family-friendly ride sponsored by Metro’s Bicycle Education Safety Training (BEST) Program. In this 8.6-mile ride along the Los Angeles River, riders will learn more about Senator Durazo’s work in improving access to the river as well as discuss important issues and topics such as transportation, bike mobility, climate equity and safety measures. There will be a pit-stop at Spoke Café where a short 15-20 minute program will take place for Senator Durazo to provide a legislative update and highlight projects such as; Taylor Yard G2 Park Projects, 100 Acre Partnership, and the Taylor Yard Pedestrian and Bicycle Bridge. The overall goal of the ride is to engage with riders on local and state measures that can support streets for all.
Pre-registration and attendance confirmation is required for all participants. Once you are registered, we will send you a waiver and location information to confirm your attendance. If you are attending with other family members, each person must be registered separately in order to attend. Participants will also receive a FREE helmet and pair of bike lights.
