Description

The Best Practices in Disruptive Event Management for the Workplace online training (formerly known as critical indent response) provides comprehensive instruction on how to deliver services after disruptive events in the workplace. Featuring the R3 approach, which is based on the latest research findings and best practices. This workshop features integrated training by three people who have had extensive experience working in the field and providing training on the topic: Jeff Gorter, MSW; Dennis Potter, LMSW, CAADC, CCS, FAAETS; Gordon Greer, LMSW, ACSW, CAADC.

It also provides a demonstration of applying disruptive event management (DEM), techniques of management consultation, educational group briefings, individual employee support, and interactive group briefings. The R3 Approach focuses on understanding cultural competency in a workplace setting and recognizes how the individual’s natural resiliency can be activated and enhanced.
