Join us for a valuable and worthwhile presentation by nationally recognized pediatrician, Dr. Todd Wolynn, President of Kids Plus Pediatrics of Pittsburgh, Executive Director of the Breastfeeding Center of Pittsburgh, and IBCLC, as he discusses: how to improve health-care professional's support of lactation using evidence-based, clinical approaches; increase the proficiency of assessment of lactation status in the mother/baby dyad; increase in validating and reinforcing of the benefits breastfeeding to mothers, and how to make appropriate referrals, including available community resources across care settings. Learn the "5 minute breastfeeding consult" technique. 1 free CME for obstetricians, pediatricians, family medicine providers, and nurse practitioners. Those who see mothers and babies are invited to attend this event at no-cost. Funded by 1st 5 programs of Colusa and Yuba County and Sutter County Children and Families Commission. Lunch provided.
