Description

What you'll learn

  • How do organisations manage strategy deployment, resource allocation and value creation across multiple projects?

  • What is the rest of the world doing to get the most out of project portfolio management

  • What is most important for success?

Catherine Killen will address these questions and summarise insights and implications for practice from the 8th international Multi-Project Management (MPM) study.

Join us for refreshments from 5:30 and the seminar from 6pm to 7pm.

The seminar will be of interest if you manage a program/portfolio of projects, or if your organisation depends upon projects for value creation and delivery of your strategy.

Nearly 1000 organisations have participated in the MPM study, conducted every two years since 2003. Each 'wave' of the study provides updated understanding of the ‘best practices’ for project portfolio management (the elements that are associated with success). The latest study investigates multiple aspects of modern multi-project management - these include established success factors as well as new themes such as digital transformation, agile practices and the use of visualisations.

Register now to benefit from the study's findings and stay in touch with what is happening around the world in project portfolio management.

Organisations that participate in the study receive individualised reports showing their performance compared with the benchmark. If your organisation would like to participate in the 2019 study, please email Catherine.killen@uts.edu.au to register your interest. You may also find out more about the study on www.multiprojectmanagement.org.
