Best Of Kona Festival

What has Kailua Kona been missing during the past two years? A music festival! And a fashion show! And residents and visitors enjoying an adult-only day on the ocean!

The 2nd Annual Best of Kona Festival will be held on Saturday April 16th from 11 am - Sunset at the Kona Inn Shopping Village lawn featuring a full day of live entertainment in an oceanfront setting to bring fun and community back to Kailua Kona.

The Festival will feature the best of Kona with an eclectic mix of local musical entertainers, including Leche De Tigre, Blue Jade, Ms Demeanor and the Felons, Maka Galliger and more. The unique musical aspect of the festival is that they will be jumping into each other's sessions to jam with one another creating a fun and joyous experience for the attendees.

The festival will also feature a fashion show featuring local designers, cirque and fire performers, slack line demonstrations and curated art, food, and professional service vendors.

Tickets are $50 general admission. Limited attendance will allow for a better parking experience, a more intimate feel to the event with plenty of access to the vendors, beer garden, cirque demonstrations and room on the lawn to enjoy the bands.

New this year: All attendees must be over 21. The Kona Inn restaurant will be featuring a "beer garden" on its lanai for shaded seating to oversee the fun on the stage and the lawn. The Festival is all about fun and collaboration, including the musicians who will be joining each other on the stage throughout the day to create Kona’s largest jam session. This will be a unique experience and one that will have people talking for years to come. Check out our video!
