Looking for the perfect present?
Always wanted to make something with your own hands?
Want to dip your toes in the world of handcrafted furniture?
Goldfinger Factory is excited to offer you your very own upcycling experience. On this course you will learn how to make your own piece of furniture with reclaimed wood!
You can choose the piece of furniture you'd like to make and our skilled Workshop Leader who has over 30 years experience in carpentry and joinery will guide you through designing and creating your tailor-made piece from scratch.
You can attend by yourself* (£120 per session) or you can make an evening of it with another friend (£90 per person per session). *Couples wanting to take the course together to make a piece of furniture for their home will be charged the same as one person.
The course runs every Wednesday evening in our workshop underneath Trellick Tower from 6:30-9:30pm or also on Saturday afternoons from 2-5pm. Once you have booked and paid, this booking counts as your deposit to reserve your first session and entitles you to one session.
If you are looking to make a piece of furniture, you are looking to attend between 3-5 sessions (ideally consecutive sessions), depending on the complexity of the item and your skill level. If you are looking to start slowly and want to make a simple handcrafted chopping board as a Christmas present for example, one session will be sufficient.
We can't wait to welcome you to 'Carpentry 101'!
Due to the intimate nature of the course, we can only accept 2 people per session to ensure that you get a very hands-on tailored course to suit your needs.
