Calling all budding scientists! Join us at Museum HQ to have a go at making butter in a jar, and to find out what makes a raspberry a raspberry! The event is FREE and all materials will be provided. The event is designed for primary-aged kids, but we're happy to have older kids join in too.
Adults, please make sure your wee person is dressed for the weather (it being Scotland in summer, we'd suggest wellies and suncream!) as the workshop will be held outside - old clothes are probably best as there will be some raspberry squashing!
If your wee one would like to come along but has any food allergies / intolerances, please do message us and we'll do our best to find alternatives. Please note also that parking in Abernethy is very limited, so please do use public transport or car share if you can. If you are bringing the car, please be considerate of our neighbours, and don't block the roads with your car (it's easily done!) as you never know when emergency vehicles might need access.
