About this event
The Berlin Symposium for Entrepreneurship and Management in Additive Manufacturing is an online event which will bring together leading industry professionals and academics to discuss the latest developments and trends in additive manufacturing.
The event features workshops on a range of technical and business-related topics in the field of Additive Manufacturing (AM) including: The AM design process, Managing Innovation when implementing AM, Becoming an Entrepreneur in AM and The Impact of AM on Digital Supply Chains.
Keynotes from leading personalities in the field of AM will help set the agenda for the symposium. Arno Held (Chief Venture Officer at AM Ventures) and Dr. Christoph Kiener (Principal Key Expert at Siemens) will talk about the opportunities and challenges of additive manufacturing.
The symposium will include virtual networking opportunities and will finish with a round table discussion.
The event is online only; it is being hosted by SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences Berlin on 31 March 2021 from 09.30-17.00.
The symposium is being held as part of the EU Erasmus Project APTIME (Additive Process Technology Integration with Management and Entrepreneurship) whose main goal is to develop and implement innovative approaches and practices for study programmes in order to fill the EU-wide skills gap in additive manufacturing.
The six universities involved in the project are working closely with companies in this sector to ensure that the outputs of the APTIME project meet the needs of the industry and so maximise the employability of students.
