Bereavement Support Training for Healthcare Providers: Perinatal through Childhood Loss

This one-day training provides healthcare providers the skills necessary to interact with families experiencing loss. Topics covered include grief theory, interdisciplinary approaches, creating memories, follow-up procedures and strategies for intervention.

Susan has dedicated her career to alleviating suffering and promoting well-being.Susan has a productive academic career studying and applying mindfulness practices in health care and higher education.In addition to her many scholarly publications, Bauer-Wu is the author of a book for the lay public, Leaves Falling Gently: Living Fully with Serious & Life-Limiting Illness through Mindfulness, Compassion & Connectedness.
