Read My Story Here...
Throughout my life, my 84-year-old grandmother Eleanor has been my best friend. Her home was the first home I was brought to when I was born, and she was one of my greatest influences in my life.
My grandmother has inspired me to live a life of courage and fearlessness as she courageously left an unhealthy marriage over 30 years ago moving to her home that has brought her the most security & peace in Arizona.
In 2008 when the economy crashed, my grandmother lost most of her financial resources. She is presently in the midst of a financial crisis outliving her financial resources to cover her mortgage and most basic expenses.
As her only grandchild and one of her only living family members, I am inspired to help her stay in her home where she is the most peaceful, happy, and content.
From this direct life experience, I have witnessed how vital it is to support our elders. It is my Grandma's greatest wish to stay in her home where she can be familiar with her surroundings and feel safe.
With your direct support, I am creating a fund for Grandma Eleanor to stay in her home for the next year. In addition, a percentage of all proceeds will benefit Safely Somewhere, a local non-profit supporting elders in need .
Thank you so much from both Grandma Eleanor and I.
