Event Details

Transformations are underway in the power sector. Older power plants are being retired, energy resources are becoming greener and more distributed, Tesla has made electric vehicles the cool new thing, and our more flexible electric grid is smarter than ever!

"Beneficial electrification" refers to electrifying end-use technologies such as water heaters, space heaters and vehicle charging, and is made possible by evolving trends in end-use technologies and appliances, by a smarter grid and by changes in how we generate energy. Beneficial electrification also reduces energy costs and emissions - a win for everyone.

Please register today for this SEEA Networking Breakfast in which we will explore beneficial electrification and what it means for the Southeast.

Transportation and Security

Please plan to arrive a few minutes early to park and go through security to receive your visitor badge.

There is limited parking available at 6325 Peachtree Dunwoody Road NE. Let the parking security guard know that you are attending the SEEA Breakfast.

An overflow parking lot is located at 6205 Peachtree Dunwoody Road NE, across the street from building 6325. Visitor badges for this parking facility will be given out at the front desk.

Due to recent changes in Atlanta's traffic from the closure of the I85, we encourage you to consider riding MARTA to our breakfast at Cox Automotive's offices in Sandy Springs. Cox is located a little less than a mile walking-distance from the Dunwoody MARTA station, located on the RED line. In addition, UberPOOL is offering reduced prices for rides that originate from or end at a MARTA station, and can transport you directly to Cox in the case of inclement weather.

Note on the Breakfast Location

Due to space constraints, our event host, Cox Enterprises, has made room available in their Cox Automotive facilities for this networking event. This is why Cox Automotive appears as our location. SEEA sincerely thanks Cox Enterprises for their generosity in making this space available.
