Description

The Bend Snow & Avalanche Workshop presented by Mt. Bachelor is the first annual gathering of snow and avalanche experts in Central Oregon. Join the Central Oregon Avalanche Association on the Central Oregon Community College campus for a full day of speakers from around the country touching on topics from risk and decision making to traveling safely through the backcountry to snow science and human factors. Presentations will benefit all experience levels and attendees will gain new tools and knowledge beneficial to traveling safely and having fun in the backcountry!

Mt. Bachelor, Black Diamond, Colorado Mountain College, Mountain Supply, Oregon Ski Guides, Ortovox, SheJumps and Three Sisters Backcountry will have booths displaying their wares and information.

The Crows Feet Commons Cafe and Picky Bars will provide coffee, oatmeal and bar samples to fuel the stoke!

7-8am Women's Breakfast presented by SheJumps @ Sparrow NWX. Free event includes drip coffee and tea provided by Sparrow. Breakfast available to purchase. Scroll down for more details.

8.30-5pm Speaker Series at Wille Hall on Central Oregon Community College Campus, lunch included

5-7pm Happy Hour at the Deschutes Tap Room at the Downtown Pub, free event, first drink on Deschutes!
