Event description

Description

Benchmarking is a method of using measuring techniques in your indoor cycling classes to prevent stagnation and regression. Benchmarking can measure changes in heart rate, watts (power output) and calorie output in response to constant variables. Using the computer on your indoor cycling bike as a guide, you will learn how to challenge participants to compete against themselves on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. After a refresher on bike fit, cycling speed, intensity and body positioning, you will learn drills you can use in each class, and how to design an entire benchmarking class you can use on a monthly basis. Approved for 2.0 BCRPA CEC's and instructed by Nella Maier, BCRPA Trainer of Fitness Leaders. Primary certification in group fitness, weight training, personal training, yoga, or aquafitness.

NOTE: This is a workshop by DONATION to the Michael Cuccione Foundation via www.psycleforlife.com OR bring your cash donation to the workshop. Registration serves as an agreement to a $50 no-show fee paid by payroll deduction should you fail to attend.
