Ben & Jerry's Scoop Shops Holiday Ice Cream, Art & Music Festival 2022

Ben & Jerry's Newbury Street Scoop Shops and peasoupATTACK will be hosting a Holiday Ice Cream, Art & Music Festival on Saturday, December 10th, from 3:00 - 6:30 PM EST. We are excited to provide a free and family fun festival for all ages to give back to the community during the Holiday Season!

Linda Khachadurian is a Beirut-born Armenian American medical editor, international educational nonprofit founder, sugar and chocolate artist, and host of The Charitable Confectioner on channel 9/Cambridge. Her online business, Chipper Confections, partners with Charitable Confection & Pure Water for the World.

Charitable Confections is a volunteer-run, 501(c)(3) public charity that assists educational nonprofits in developing countries: http://www.charitableconfections.org/

Five percent of proceeds from all of Linda's Chipper Confections sales go to her partners at the Vermont-based nonprofit Pure Water for the World.https://www.purewaterfortheworld.org/

Linda will use only Ben & Jerry's ice cream and other edible items such as waffle cones, fudge, and cookie dough to create an edible, four-foot holiday tree.

At the beginning of the festival, Linda will provide a mini-presentation about how she uses sugar and edible items to create the art tree.

At 5:15 PM, the shop will reveal the tree for all to view before eating the sweets!

Then after the reveal of the Ice Cream Art Tree, everyone is welcome to donate at least $5.00 to the charity of his/her/their choice: Charitable Confection or Pure Water for the World. The donor can enjoy at least one scoop of the ice cream art from the Holiday Tree!

During the event, we will have DJ Trigga and opportunities to win prizes and fun treats by playing Ben & Jerry's trivia with our MC, KimVy, and Taylor- Made-in-the-USA!

An award-winning R&B/reggae performer from Barbados will perform throughout the event. Destinee Hunt will provide musical stylings singing some of her songs and popular holiday songs to get us in the giving spirit! Visit Destinee Hunt's youtube channel and Instagram page!

The event starts at 3:00 PM EST and ends at 6:30 PM EST. We will have trivia, giveaways, and more!
