About this Event

If your brand were an animal, what would it be? What do you want people to say about you when you're not in the room? Find out the answer to all of these questions and more at LogMeIn’s Personal Branding night. Having a solid personal brand can give you the tools and confidence you need to succeed in a fast-paced and evolving job market.

Join BE@LogMeIn for a night of learning and networking as you build your personal brand. Hear from personal branding experts and enjoy beverages and light refreshments from local Black-owned businesses.

Though this is a networking event geared towards Black professionals in the Boston area, it is open to all. We can learn from each other’s similarities and differences, and we hope to see you there!

Meet the Panelists:

LaCrystal Robinson is an experienced marketer that specializes in B2B technology. She currently works a marketing manager in LogMeIn’s Customer Experience Solutions division. In between executing on events and campaigns, she co-leads the BE@LogMeIn employee resource group for Black Employees and Friends. She’s passionate about diversifying the technology industry and is committed to lifting up and creating opportunities for other people of color. She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and sits on the executive board for the Brockton, MA chapter. LaCrystal founded the Say Y.E.S! lifestyle brand in 2017 and uses the platform to enlighten, empower and entertain women of the 21st century. She is a native of Charleston, SC and graduate of Claflin University where she majored in Business Marketing.

Danielle Johnson, widely known as Ms. HotSauce, has encompassed the essence of her stage name, combining her spicy sex appeal and fiery sense of humor to any stage and/or airwaves. Born in Massachusetts, 36-year-old HotSauce is the mom of an energetic 7-year-old, a radio personality, event host, podcaster, entrepreneur, and content pusher.

Ricky Grant Jr. is a native of Boston Massachusetts. He has over 17 years of experience in program design, curriculum development, teaching, case management, grants management, staff supervision and overall management of supportive programs for underserved communities in Boston. Ricky has managed various programs over the years that recruit, train and empower community residents. Ricky also maintains strong relationships with community organizations, educational institutions, faith-based institutions, city agencies, and law enforcement entities to coordinate quality services for young adults and “returning” citizens. Ricky graduated from Northeastern University, with a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership.

Sharifah Niles-Lane is the Vice President of Digital Marketing and Social Media Manager at Eastern Bank, the oldest and largest mutual bank in country. Sharifah is an award-winning digital marketer who brings 15 years of digital and content marketing experience, and a proven track record of success to the bank. In her role, Sharifah identifies and executes innovative digital strategies to market Eastern Bank’s outstanding legacy, values, and mission. Sharifah recently received the 2019 Marketing Edge Rising Star Award honoring marketers under 40 leading the industry by disrupting the status quo. She has a passion for mentorship and community service and currently serves on the board of advisors for the Greater Boston YMCA-Dorchester and the City Year Seven Generations Board.

Jason Jones is the Recruitment Marketing Specialist for DraftKings, a Boston-based technology company in sports entertainment. Jason prides himself on creating engaging and compelling content that resonates with his target audience to drive top-of-funnel growth. Jason combines social media and recruitment marketing efforts to showcase DraftKings as a company reinventing technology in sports entertainment across digital candidate touchpoints. Jason wakes up every day with one goal, and that goal is to brand DraftKings as the premier technology company to work for in Boston and the markets they compete in for top-tier talent.

Ronia Stewart is a Boston, Massachusetts native and seasoned leader with more than 20 years of corporate experience in the financial services, legal and non-profit arenas. A committed professional, she has dedicated her talents and skills to improving the social, emotional, educational and economic well-being of the citizens of greater Boston area and beyond. Ms. Stewart, a sought after Thought-Leader and Speaker, is the President & CEO of Garden of Eden & Associates, Inc., a privately funded non-profit organization that conducts seminars and workshops that provide leadership development and professional and employability skills training to individuals and strategic and operational planning to organizations. She is also an appointed member of Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker's Relaunched Black Advisory Commission. Ronia is currently interstate between Boston & Charlotte, enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading and traveling.
