Being an Effective Parent of 6-12 Year Olds

This seminar, presented by Nicholas Long, Ph.D., is designed for parents of 6-12 year old children. The focus will be on discussing various parenting issues, including discipline, promoting self-reliance, communicating effectively with your child, peer pressure, and school-related issues.
These classes are held at Arkansas Children's Hospital in the ACH South Campus Building - Auditorium
(located one block south of the main hospital)

Center for Effective Parenting
The Center for Effective Parenting (CEP) is a collaborative program of the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and Arkansas Children's Hospital (ACH). It is directed by Dr. Nicholas Long, a Professor of Pediatrics and the Director of Pediatric Psychology in the Department of Pediatrics at UAMS and ACH.
