Event description

Description

Last month, the British government appointed a Minister for Loneliness. Ever heard of it? The loneliness of new motherhood is a reality. It comes as unexpected, most of the time, it is a big surprise… you feel like completely disconnected in all areas of life. “How could that happen to me?” Me, the great connected, most social person ever?

Are you a mom or a mom-to-be?
You would like to meet-up with other women like you and share tips and advice on how to enjoy life as a mother in the city of lights?

Join us for this first Moms breakfast co-organized by Paris for Her & Blisshood

Both organizers will share with you their very personal experiences of being a mother in Paris and give you the opportunity to discuss issues that matter the most to you, and share a good piece of advice!

All this, in a relaxed and open-minded atmosphere.

About Ariadna, founder of Blisshood

Ariadna holds dual Mexican and French citizenship. She received a Master of Science in International Management from The American University of Paris and also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Seattle University.

Before co-founding Blisshood, she worked in a wide range of fields from communications consultancy to business strategy to project management in both small firms and multinationals.

In addition, Ariadna served as Strategic Partnership Manager for Net Impact AUP, an organization devoted to the environment and social justice, and as Board Member for the Seattle University’s COSTO Scholar Alumni Association chapter. She was honored with the Outstanding Achievement, Commitment and Dedication award from the City of Seattle—Office of the Mayor in 2000.

She has two little boys and knows, out of her own experience as an expat mom, that mothers need a network to feel supported and empowered. As the saying goes,

It takes a village to raise a child

It is her hope that Blisshood will allow expat moms and Parisians to find a caring community that allows them to grow and find joy through each stage of motherhood: from pregnancy, to delivery, to raising a child.
