Making a Difference. Together.
“In a gentle way, you can shake the world.” - Mahatma Gandhi
How often do we think that we need to start our own nonprofit, run a board, or volunteer hundreds of hours to make a difference? How often do we believe you need to be privileged, advantaged, or special to make a positive change? How often do we talk ourselves out of opportunity that we forget we have the ability to do the daily, necessary, and no less valuable smaller acts that can make the world better and brighter.
From the smallest kindness towards a stranger to sharing time with a loved one; from creating a global campaign to starting an organization; all these acts matter, make a collective roar, and make a difference. Together, we can embrace our power and shake the world.
BEHOLD.HER is honored to host Sarah Bayot of Kicheko Goods, a unique jewelry business that invests in education. She'll be offering 15% off her new spring collection during the event.
Join us at Shopkeepers Gallery for noms and dranks sponsored by MAKETTO and Republic Restoratives. Grab your seat and take a journey with us and new lady friends. We'll be redrawing the lines of what it means to make a difference with female cartoonist, Dana Maier, followed up with a one-on-one portrait session with photographer Leah Beilhart. 10% of ticket proceeds will go to Caring for Cambodia, an organization supporting a better future for Cambodian kiddos.
We encourage all shapes, colors, and sizes of women. You don't need to have modeling experience to be in front of the camera. We encourage diversity of culture and mind. Note that there is no dress code, but we discourage workout clothes and encourage dressing up!

*Behold. Her is a photographic happy hour for women. Through conversation and an intimate portrait experience, these gatherings are built to foster a foundation for self-love, communal support, and storytelling.
