Dr. Hooks-Anderson has served as the president of Mound City Medical Forum, the state society of the National Medical Association. She has also been on the boards of the Monsanto YMCA and the Missouri Academy of Family Physicians. In the past, she has also volunteered to speak at local churches and health fairs.
