About this Event

From architecture, art, and graphic design to costume, scenic, and lighting design principles, stage design is one of the rare practices that has the ability to incorporate all design mediums. Where does that inspiration come from and where are the sources to pull from in the future?

Panelists:

Michael Brown, Michael Brown Design

Michael Brown is a Production Designer and Creative Director who has worked extensively in the world of Theatre, Fashion, Art, and Concert Design. Originally a Nashville native, Michael relocated back to Nashville in 2016 from NYC via Wisconsin with his wife who also works as an Interior Designer in the Nashville Design Community.

Notable Projects/Affiliations: Bon Iver, The National, Wilco, Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers, Eaux Claires Festival, Ralph Lauren, Williamstown Theatre Festival, and others.

Sooner Routhier, Sooner Rae Creative

Sooner Rae Routhier is an award-winning Designer, Producer, Director, and one of today's leading creative minds in the world of experiential entertainment. She has developed and produced some of entertainment's most recognizable performance moments for some of today's biggest headlining artists.

Notable Projects/Affiliations: The Weeknd, KISS, Imagine Dragons, The Lumineers, Rhianna, Pentatonix, Jay-Z, Halsey, Motley Crue, The Game of Thrones Concert Experience, Depeche Mode, and others.

Chris Lisle, CLLD, LLC

Originally from Nashville, TN, Chris Lisle has over 28 years experience in the entertainment industry. He has worked in a variety of roles including Production Designer, Lighting Designer, Production Manager, and Show Producer. Chris is also the co-founder and Executive Director of the Touring Career Workshop, a non-profit that serves as “Human Resources for Touring Production Professionals.”

Notable Projects/Affiliations: Robert Plant, Alice Cooper, Jason Aldean, Judah and the Lion, Miranda Lambert, One Republic, Dave Koz, Sugarland, Peter Frampton, Nick Carter, Keith Urban, LeAnn Rimes, Lee Ann Womack, NFL Draft 2019, Music City Midnight: New Years Eve Nashville 2019, Touring Career Workshop, and others.

Scott Moore, Go Live! Productions

Scott Moore is the principal designer behind GO LIVE PRODUCTIONS, an Emmy-Award Winning Nashville production company specializing in Design and Show Direction for Broadcast Environments.

Jackson Gallagher, Fragment Nine

Jackson Gallagher is a recent Nashville transplant and Principal Designer of Fragment Nine, a full-service live-event Creative Direction and Production-Design firm that specializes in the implementation of cutting edge live-event technology through reactive content, generative elements, and augmented reality.

Erik Anderson/ Gordon Droitcour, Cour Design

Cour Design is a Nashville based stage design duo specializing in concert creative direction, lighting design, content, and music videos.

Notable Projects/Affiliations: Billie Eilish, PARAMORE, Maren Morris, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, St. Lucia, Lord Huron, and others.

Andy Reuter, Andy Reuter Design

Andy Reuter is a digital rendering artist and media content creator who specializes in designing stages in the 3-D realm.

Notable Projects/Affiliations: Rascal Flatts, Imagine Dragons, Slipknot, Maren Morris, Sam Hunt, Pentatonix, Lumineers, and others.

Moderator: Lily Hansen

Conversation drives author and interviewer Lily Clayton Hansen. One of the basics in life is communication, and in a digital age, Lily believes we need to re-prioritize it more than ever.
