Description:

This daylong conference will provide a broad overview of multi-tiered systems of support (MTSS) for students’ behavioral and mental health. The conference is open to all education professionals, regardless of the status of their schools’ MTSS implementation process.

The Bridgeport and New Britain school districts will present best practices and lessons learned through their experience with behavioral MTSS under the Safe Schools/Healthy Students grant. Other topics include: engaging families in MTSS; strategies to ensure MTSS practices are an appropriate cultural and contextual fit; using data to include student outcomes; and various interventions.

Participants will leave with strategies, interventions, and hands-on tools to serve all students’ social-emotional development.
