If you live and breathe design then this event was made for YOU!
Come celebrate the globe's largest design social by being a part of Toronto's Behance Portfolio Review Week. Mix and mingle with like-minded members of the design community right in the heart of the city at George Brown College's Centre for Art, Design and Information Technology.
You will enjoy an evening of great food courtesy of Adobe Systems (Imagine the collision between a Smoke's Poutinerie Food Truck and a Burrito stand…that's all we are saying), stimulating discussions, shared passions, creativity, door prizes, awards and, of course, insightful feedback, from some of our industry's brightest sparks, on that special project that you have been working on. You will have an opportunity to mix and mingle with thought leaders, product and service innovators, design professionals, students and educators.
The event will feature the inaugural launch of an ongoing work@life lecture/discussion series focused on the challenges and opportunities of entering, surviving and thriving in a working world in transition. In place of the traditional keynote address we will be kicking off with a panel discussion featuring speakers representing visionary, enabler and maker/doer categories within the industry. Each will bring their unique perspectives to the discussion on what the current and emerging contours of the working world look and feel like.
Following the discussion panel there will be discipline-specific breakout rooms for portfolio reviews by industry experts in Corporate, Branding and Advertising; Illustration and Modelling; UI/UX Design; Print and Package Design; Motion Graphics, Animation; Video and Photography; Game Design.
