Why beGLOBAL?
- Other than Samsung and LG, Korean tech companies and entrepreneurs remain unknown in Silicon Valley (SV) and the rest of the Western world.
- beGLOBAL 2013 aims to introduce some of these hiding stars to Silicon Valley and the Western Tech Community.
- We believe that by presenting these top Korean tech companies and entrepreneurs to SV and the Western world, we will stimulate greater interaction between the nascent Eastern Tech Ecosystem and the well-established one in the West, and break further ground for younger Korean/Asian technology companies and entrepreneurs to be noticed and heard in SV and beyond.
- We also want to foster more cross-pollination between East and West, with SV money going into Korea/Asia, and Korean/Asian money coming to SV.
- While our long-term goal is Pan-Asian, in this first beGLOBAL, we focus on Korean tech companies/entrepreneurs, as it is where we can best leverage our network and expertise

Check out hip Korean startups
Korea is not only the land of Samsung, LG and Gangnam Style. Come see the coolest breed of Korean startups, showing off unique apps and services. Obtain new ideas and network with bright developers, designers, entrepreneurs and investors.
