Beginning TIG welding w/ JIM
Tuesday, May 22, 2012 from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM (EDT)
New York, NY
TIG is the new MIG. The coolest thing about TIG welding is that TIG allows the welder to see exactly what is going on as a weld is executed, up close and personal, without being showered in splatter. Plus you don't have to wear those bulky gloves.
Yep. You know those soft, nice leather gloves you bought for that other welding class and burned the crap out of yourself? Well those were meant for TIG.
Come down to our shop and see for yourself how fun it is to be able to make slow, nice welds, with Jim, the newest member of the Mada teaching team.
As with other classes at our shop: Dress for the weather. If it's cold outside, it's cold inside. Wear long pants, long sleeves and prepare to get dirty.
The class is $50 with a $10 materials fee.
