Starts February 2nd (Mondays from 1:30PM-4:30PM for 6 weeks).

Brush up on your skills and follow up on what was learned in Wheel Throwing Part One. (New students are welcome if they can throw a three-inch cylinder.)

We will review centering and throwing a cylinder and then proceed to making different bowls, lids, bottles, plus trimming with a chuck and glazing. Also covered will be handles and various spouts. The instructor can demonstrate most things students are interested in or curious about. Bring questions and wear old clothes.

For students who have taken one of our beginner level ceramic series or a similar course elsewhere.

Non-members: $250 for 6 weeks. Members: $200.

Fee does not include materials. Clay and glaze can be purchased from the instructor.

NOTE: Eventbrite charges non-refundable processing fees for online payments and now displays these fees in the total ticket price shown on this event listing.

About the instructor: Lee Cummings has over fifty years experience working with clay--thirty as a production potter, taught at Germantown Academy and Unity College, and had a one person show at the University Museum in Bangor, as well as sold her work through Littlefield Gallery and Greenhut Gallery.
